Representing Intelligence Community (IC) Employees and Government Contractors for 25 years in Security Clearance and Related Employment Matters.
Our security clearance lawyers represent security clearance holders and applicants before all federal intelligence community (IC) agencies, such as the National Security Agency (NSA), Central Intelligence Agency (CIA), National Reconnaissance Office (NRO), National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA), the Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA) and many others.
Our security clearance lawyers are familiar with the differences in the security clearance processes for each of the different intelligence community (IC) agencies. We frequently represent IC federal employees, applicants and contractors in security clearance appeals. We also advise individuals about the security clearance process as it affects them individually based on their individual situation.

Each IC Agency Has Their Own Security Clearance Process
Each IC agency has their own individual security clearance appeals and application process. There are some major variations between the different IC agencies in how they process security clearance cases. For instance, the NSA has a panel of experienced and senior personnel. The CIA and NRO handles security clearance appeals in a more traditional sense with respect to their Personal Appearance process. DIA undertakes a pretty comprehensive review and panel hearing and appeals process. In short, every IC agency has a different approach to security clearance review. It is important to have counsel who has familiarity with the differences between the different agencies.
