Berry & Berry, PLLC is located in the Washington, D.C. Metropolitan Area in Reston, Virginia. Our employment lawyers specialize in labor, employment, federal retirement and security clearance law. We represent federal employees nationwide and internationally. We also represent public and private sector employees in Virginia, the District of Columbia, and Maryland.

As more law firms and lawyers move to virtual or remote settings, we take pride in having a physical location where clients can meet with us. It is often reassuring for clients to know that they can speak with individuals located in our office directly when they call. Many of our clients live far from Washington, D.C. or prefer video teleconference meetings (Zoom) so we provide these services as well.
Our employment attorneys handle matters involving employment law, security clearance defense, administrative action defense, administrative investigations, equal employment opportunity claims, federal retirement matters, public sector grievance matters, and private sector employment and severance agreements.
We routinely appear in hearings, mediations, and other proceedings before many different federal agencies. These include the Merit Systems Protection Board (MSPB), the Office of Personnel Management (OPM), the Defense Office of Hearings and Appeals (DOHA), the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC), and other federal and state agencies. Our firm brings a unique and experienced perspective to our employee-side practice as we have previously served as general counsel for national labor unions, corporations, and nonprofit organizations.
