Ms. Bae is an associate attorney with the firm and represents federal and state employees, law enforcement officers, private sector employees and labor unions in a number of employment and labor law matters. Ms. Bae also represents federal employees in binding arbitrations, before the Merit Systems Protection Board (MSPB), the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC), the Defense Office of Hearings and Appeals (in regard to security clearance matters) and in court. In addition, Ms. Bae represents federal and local law enforcement officers and other local public safety employees in various administrative matters.
Ms. Bae also advises and represents individuals on federal retirement matters, including general retirement errors, FERCCA corrections, OPM Disability Retirement applications, law enforcement and firefighter retirement and general FERS and CSRS retirement issues.
Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Bae was an associate attorney at a law firm in Norfolk, Virginia, where she represented employees in actions brought under Title VII of the Civil Rights Act, Civil Rights Act of 1866 (§ 1981), the Americans with Disabilities Act, and the Family and Medical Leave Act. Ms. Bae also represented individuals in employment-related hearings and state grievance hearings.
